Welcome Message
The International Conference on Informatics and Problem Solving (ICIPS 2025), affiliated with the Arab & African Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC), is designed to be a dynamic platform that brings together a diverse community of educators, researchers, coaches, and students. Its main purpose is to foster dialogue, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative practices in the fields of informatics education, competitive programming, and problem-solving methodologies. By creating an environment where academic theory meets practical coaching strategies, the conference aims to bridge the gap between classrooms, research labs, and programming arenas.
The 2025 edition focuses on the theme Innovating Informatics Education for the Future, highlighting the urgent need to reimagine how informatics is taught and practiced in a rapidly evolving digital era. Through keynote speeches, research presentations, workshops, and panel discussions, ICIPS provides opportunities to explore modern pedagogical tools, effective competition training techniques, and future directions for integrating computational thinking into various educational contexts. By gathering participants from different regions and backgrounds, the conference also reinforces cultural and academic exchange, making it not only a scientific event but also a hub for inspiring the next generation of problem solvers and innovators.
ICIPS 2025, in collaboration with ACPC, warmly welcomes all participants to an engaging environment where innovation in informatics education meets the spirit of competition. With its focus on the theme “Innovating Informatics Education for the Future”, the conference invites educators, researchers, and students to share knowledge, build networks, and inspire new approaches to teaching, problem solving, and coaching in programming contests.
